Stories from the Adoption Circle began as an ebook published several months ago. The book contains over 30 stories from birth parents, adoptees, adoptive parents, extended family, and professionals connected with adoption. Soon after the book was published, I received several additional stories. The idea of the Blog was born. A space for those who are part of the adoption circle to continue to share stories. A space that might well become a way to connect and build community. The responses to the book from readers spoke to how they found a commonality in the shared experiences, AND shared perceptions. As stated in the introduction to the book, it is my hope that these writings will reach others within the adoption circle.
